Donna has authored over 35 Bible studies, numerous magazine articles, and travels throughout the United States and internationally to teach from Scripture.
She has published five books through Concordia Publishing House. Her sixth book, a full-length Bible study based on the book of Esther, released on March 2, 2021. Donna has also authored four DVD Bible study series in partnership with the Lutheran Women in Mission, which were taught before live audiences.
The LWML published the Donna Pyle Bible Study Series, which includes eight downloadable Bible studies for individual or small group use. This series is currently being translated into Hebrew, Russian, Ukranian, Norwegian, Latvian, Polish, Finnish and German for ministry throughout Eurasia and Israel through WORDrus.
Donna attends Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball, Texas, where she’s an active supporter of LWML and mission work. She is a Houston volunteer team member for Love146, which seeks to end child trafficking and exploitation.
Donna serves on the Board of Directors of Camp Lone Star, which offers Christ-centered opportunities for children/adults through Lutheran Outdoors Ministry of Texas. She also serves on the Nominating Committee for the Texas District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
Donna also offers professional online tutoring on writing, developing Bible studies, and public speaking through Wyzant.
Donna is a life-long Texan and coffee lover. She is an adventurous traveler, avid reader, dabbling gardener and closet chef, but home is always her favorite place to be.
