About Donna Pyle

Not raised going to church regularly, Donna actively decided against it as a teenager.  Consequently, as a young adult Donna's life took many difficult turns due to poor decisions, lack of direction, and no relationship with the Lord.  At age 23, Donna accepted an invitation to attend a church service, and God took it from there.  She was baptized into the family of God six months later. 

Over the past 20 years, God has worked tremendously in Donna's life through His life-giving Word, prayer, worship, and incredible, godly mentors.  Today, Donna loves digging for the treasures in God's Word, writing Bible studies and devotions, teaching adult Bible class, singing with her church's worship team, playing flute on occasion, and encouraging others in the faith.  

In coming to faith as an adult, Donna brings fresh insights into God's Word and teaches those insights with warmth, humor and grace in an easy-to-relate style for both new and seasoned Christians. 

Donna remains actively involved in God's mission fields through the Lutheran Women's Missionary League in her capacity as the Texas District's Vice President of Christian Life.  Born and raised in Texas, Donna resides in Spring, Texas.  She is a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball, Texas, where she serves in the worship ministry and LWML.

Donna is passionate about her relationship with the Lord and what God has done (and continues to do mightily) in her life.  She delights in seeing God ignite the passion in women to exalt Him to the highest place in their lives.  Artesian Ministries exists to draw women into a deeper relationship with Jesus by providing Bible studies, devotions, Scripture memorization, journaling opportunities, and encouraging an active prayer life.
